Hmmmmm... weird things have happened over the last few days . Well , weird may not be the exact word , but definitely out of the ordinary . First thing was , on Thursday , I went to see Red Elvises . They were spectacular as always . But it was what happened before the concert that was a little peculiar . I went to a bar beside where the concert was called Jack's . My Pittsburgh peeps should know it well . Cool little place with cheap-ish beer and pretty good tunes on the box . Anyway , it was only like 7:00 or 7:30 , so there wasn't very many people there . I sat down and ordered a beer . Next thing I know I hear some female voices behind me . I turn to see two cute girls walk in . One heads to the bathroom one sits down beside me . Odd???? Now , with hindsight , I think this girl may have possibly been ex-SG Fleur , but I'd only met her one time before so I'm not positive . Anyhoo , she starts talking to me . Odder ( That's not Otter , which is a small semi aquatic mammal , that's odd-er . As in MORE odd . ) ???? Now these types of things just DON'T happen to me . My luck is FAR too horrible . So I'm a little perplexed . I talk back to her , and strangely enough seem to be entertaining her in the process . Then her friend comes over and sits down . I'm feeling a little uncomfortable now , as I BARELY have enough "game" to talk to one cute girl , let alone two . Being the little trooper that I am though , I hang in there . Now I'm talking to TWO cute girls . Unprecedented!!!! I'm a little nervous , but things go okay . Now...ANOTHER cute girl walks in and sits down with them . That's it . I bail . As Dirty Harry once said "Man has got to know his limitations . " Without some sort of "wing man" I was terribly outgunned . I probably should have ditched when the second girl came over . Now I know what you're thinking . I am a big sissy . Maybe so . I looked at the situation as such...it was as if I were facing three armed combatants , whilst I was UN-armed . Sure I might have been able to take one of them , but the odds were more in favor of me getting shot down...BADLY . So I finished my beer and talked to this old dunk guy about how he tried out for Fear Factor , but they turned him down . True story .

The next odd thing that happened is that I've discovered that Nyquil to me is like opium to other people . It makes me think in bizarre ways . I was sitting in a Nyquil-ized stupor last night and thought "What would some of my favorite childhood TV shows have been like if they had simply changed the names of the title or characters ? " We'd have shows like " The Finkleschmidt's Of Hazzard ". Which would have cosequently resulted in a rap song called "Look At Them Girls With The Daisy Finkleschmidt's On " . Not nearly as cool , is it ? Or the great William Shatner opus "Star Trek" , could have been called "Space Trip" . Not bad , but not as flashy . The cool ass character on said show called Khan Noonien Singh , played by Mr Roarke from Fantasy Island , could have been dubbed Frank the genetically enhanced super bad guy . Later we would have seen the release of "Space Trip 2 : The Wrath Of Frank " . SIGNIFICANTLY , less cool .

Nyquil . BAAAAAAD shit , man .
