I thought that recent events had effectively destroyed my puckish sense of humor and I had become a hollow shell of a human being...and then today I saw a girl wearing a shirt that said "I'm surrounded by jag-offs".
Here is a helpful list of phrases and sayings that are native to the Pittsburgh,PA area, including the afore mentioned "Jag-Off" .
1) Jag-Off : A derogatory term which may have it's origination in more commonly used terms such as "Jerk-Off" or "Jack-Off" .
Ex. - " Did you just see that Jag-Off wearing the Browns shirt get nailed by that Yuengling bottle????"
2) Yuengling : The world's greatest beer, given unto humanity by God himself. A local favorite in PA .
Ex. - "Dude, last night I drank about twenty Yuenglings and woke up in a dumpster outside Primanti's."
3) Primanti Bros. : A local sandwich shop that makes a strange,but tasty...especially if you're hammered...sandwich that has normal sandwich stuff PLUS french fries and cole slaw ON the sandwich. Sounds gross, but worth a try.

4) Yinz : A term describing a group of people. Similar to " y'all" or"youse" .
Ex. - "Are yinz guys gonna go watch the Stillers game n'at??? "
5) Stillers : Pittsburghese translation of Steelers. Our beloved local football team.
Ex. - "GO STILLERRRRRS!!!!!!!!!!"
6) N'at : Pittsburghese translation of "And That" meaning "In addition to..." .
Ex - "I just sat around all day watchin' TV n'at."
NOW...All Together - "Yinz jag-offs gonna go down to Primanti's and have a few Yuenglings and watch the Stillers game n'at????"
