Man , today SUCKED at work . There are just certain people in this world whose only discernable talent is to be a complete and total ASSHOLE...and ALL of those people were at our store today . I can't understand why A) Some people can't follow simple instructions , B) WHY in the name of Chuck Norris would you get mad at ME for telling you what you should have known already , C) WHY would you then get irate with the one person who's trying to help you ???? I'm a REALLY easygoing guy and it takes a LOT to piss me off , but there were a couple of motherfuckers who almost got strangled today. ASSHOLES!!!!
On a happier note . I picked up some cool swag the other day . I gots me...
1) The new two disc special edition release of "A Nightmare On Elm Street" . That first one is STILL scary . My older sister snuck me in to see it when I was like 10 or 11 years old and it fucking TRAUMATIZED me!!! Seriously . I had nightmares for weeks . I still thought that it was an amazing movie though . Even at that age I was a huge horror movie fan , and I knew that if that flick could scare the bejesus out of me that much it MUST be good...and it STILL is .
2) Social Distortion Live at the Roxy . I loves me some Social D , and they're even better live . Lots of good tunes . Some interesting dialogue from Mike Ness ( Who says motherfucker about a million times on the album ) . The liner notes are really cool too . One of the first times that I've seen a musician actually tell people what they were thinking and going through when they wrote each song . Cool shit .
3) The Tick Vs. Season One . The animated Tick show created by Ben Edlund is one of the funniest and most underrated animated series EVER . I think most people just wrote it off because it was aired as a Saturday morning cartoon . There are some brilliant parodies of the super hero genre and society in general all spouted by an enormous dope in a big blue tick outfit . Some of the stuff seems a little tame compared to your South Parks and Drawn Togethers , but DAMN...it still manages to make me laugh . You should check it out . SPOOOOOOON!!!!!
That is all for now . Later y'all . TinfoilHalo , over and out .
