I'm back from NYC and soooo happy to be home. I had an absolutely fabulous time in New York but I missed my girl and my cat. Thursday night here was amazing. My gallery is hosting a monthly spoken word event called GenderEnders that features trans/genderqueer/intersex spoken word artists. It was amazingly sucessful with a full crowd in attendence. We were even filmed for Canada's Sex TV television program. You can find out more about GenderEnders at www.genderenders.com. Last night we had our monthly Rock Out with out yr Cock Out - rock show featuring all women and trans powered bands. It was a really great show with some really great bands, but we didn't make very much money this time around. I need to find a venue that doesnt' take such a huge chunk of the door.
