This piece means the world to me. The format and structure come directly from the historical one woman show that Annie Sprinkle performed and toured nearly 30 years ago and was handed down to me. This piece is sacred and precious. I give my whole self to this piece when I’m performing. The emotional and physical output involved in this show are huge. I open myself up in every possible way with total abandon. I leave the work bruised, at times bloody, covered in sweat and my own ejaculate and completely undone. This piece is a battle cry and a sacred offering from the deepest corners of my heart.
