the party last nite for my b day went well. carol queen(who i know i mention all the time but she is one of my favorite writers and if you haven't read anything by her - you should) ...so carol queen read some really hot erotica last nite and gave me 23 birthday spankings on stage. i don't know if i could ask for more than that. a lot of friends showed up and ex lovers that made my heart ache. my roommate andy brought me a big bottle of champagne that made the nite ever so beautiful. one of my volunteers(at femina potens) gave me roses and a little stuffed piggy, joe came by and gave me a cd of photos from my last jello wrestling match at dada fest, and heather(this amazing woman who still holds my heart in her hand - as so many do) she wrote me a poem. i wasn't given it until long after she left the party though. she didn't want me to read it there. i read it last nite before i went to bed and cried myself to sleep. i don't understand how people can put the way it is and their feelings down on a sheet of paper tied up with a pretty bow and hand it off to someone else to pass on to me but they can't just let me directly inside. oh heather. rrrr. and she left before my performance - which by the way was super hot and so amazing. i had so much fun with that. i need someone to hold me. for someone to take all the pieces that are me and touch them - hold them - don't change them or rearrange them - just respect who i am - love me if just for a moment. i'm going to see my thomas very soon. less than a week in fact. my parents are flying me home for a late birthday thang. ohio is such a different world. it will be interesting going back there - haven't been back to the midwest since x mas. my friend harrison gets back from mexico today. he was at the wto protest last week. i'm looking forward to seeing him. thats all for now.
