Today I have been massively productive and knocking things off of my to do list like no body's business. I found a cat sitter for my kitties who will be staying at the house - which is good as they get all pissy with me if I don't leave them a playmate. I made a detailed work descripiton for my new intern at the gallery along with this weeks to do list,sent that to her, and then met with the new intern at a coffee shop to review her new position and responsibilities. Then I found the perfect vintage furniture shop that rents out furniture that I can use for the video that I'm producing that takes place in the 1950s ala Pleasantville style. While I was in the furniture store I spotted a really hot old vintage typewriter. It's an old Smith and Corona. They had another similar one in the window going for a hundred bucks but this one wasn't tagged so I asked them how much it was and they said it didn't work so they weren't selling it. I asked them if they would sell it to me any way as I've been looking for one for my living room as a decorative item. They sold it to me for $5. I was so happy. It's a beauty. Then I went to the bank deposited my checks into my account. Then I headed to the post office, wrote a check for rent mailed it to my landlord. By the time I made my way back home it was almost 6pm and then I called my friend who borrowed my painting two months ago and was supposed to give it back to me one month ago but hadn't.. anyway I called him up and said hey..I'm coming to get the painting so I took one of those big mini van cabs to his place to pick him up but he couldn't do it as his bike was being towed and he had to be there so he gave me his key and sent me out to his studio where I lugged his painting down a couple flights of stairs and into the mini van. I brought the painting home, fixed the wire on the back of the painting and threw that puppy on the wall. Then I ran my very late dvd to Blockbuster,checked email to discover that the person I had hoped would be available for the hot sex scene in the my video with me, is totally excited about the project and is going to be in the video. Also I found a really great make up artist for the production,have a really hot videographer gal who is totally excited about the project and wants to collaborate in some manner, and got an email from a hot gal in SF who wants to go out for drinks when I get back from NYC. If that didn't make the day fantabulous enough my Mister Mogul aka bondage partner in lust and crime, just got approved for a lease on a live/work studio in Oakland and he will be moving here in less than a month. I still have some running around to do tonite and need to pack and still have to get my measurements for this latex company that I'm modeling for in NYC. Tomorrow will be busy too. I have a fundraising meeting in the morning, s&m rendezous in the afternoon and have to get the keys to my cat sitter in the evening amongst a whole lot of other craziness. New York here I come.
