10:31pm - I'm back in town; sleepy, sore and with a tummy full of broken glass. Four of us from the Fire Fabulon drove 2.5 hours up to Central Michigan U to perform a 2 hour show for their Carnavale night. It was pretty fun! But without fire, (it was indoors) our shock factor was limited.
So I had to kick up the bed of glass routine a bit. At the end, after the back drop onto the glass, I had the other 3 teamates flip a table over on top of me and then all stand on it. It was pretty exciting I think! Then I did the light bulb eating act directly after. We had a mic, so everyone could hear up close the horrific crunching of teeth on glass...
What I SHOULDN'T have done is kept performing poi spinning and acrobatics after that. But I just can't let a good crowd wane! So now I have a mild tummy ache. Aww. But, a good night's sleep, a big breakfast, and I'll be right as rain tomorrow.
How was YOUR night?

How would you describe Secrets of the Samurai, and who is it by? I'm always looking for new martial arts/philosophy books... thanks!
