There isnt a whole lot happening at the moment, well there is, but it's nothing that I seem to have control over. A lot of things that have to be done and then not a lot of time left in each day. There's been a lot of change for me recently, a lot of goodbyes also - even for good reasons it isn't always easy....

Thank god for long weekends!! (no pun intended it being easter n all!) I know Jesus didn't die to give me time off work!!

I'm having a fantastic one so far, lots to do but it's all good, except for some of last nite!! Managed to come the closest I ever have to driving straight in to someone's house!! I was in a part of...

Well it's been a while again, apologies to those few who I didn't reply to. I will do I promise. Things have been busy and testing. Though I think I'm on the other side of it all now. smile

A lot of things have happened and very few of them have been fun, but they have certainly kicked me up the arse. I hadn't realised how...

I'm going to steal that Orwell book. I love him. I read 1984 when I was about 10, after we read Animal Farm in school, and it changed my entire outlook on the world. Before I was an innocent farmer's daughter chasing kittens in the idyllic countryside... that was the beginning of my slide into my current cynicism of the world... shocked

I pity you and your job. Please do call your boss that, it will have a fantastic result on your evaluations, I'm sure.

Ironically enough I heard a duck quacking outside my window the other morning... I felt bad because she was missing her husband. There is a tiny pond in front of my hall and they live there occasionally. I wonder if to them it's like having an apartment in the city or something, because it's so small.

another update, again with nothing much to say. All I know is I have to leave my job very soon. I've heard all the pissing moaning people I can for one lifetime - we even had people complaining today about helicopters flying overhead due to a huge court case in town....it's a fucking helicopter people....OF COURSE IT'S NOISEY!!!

I'm too tired, too skint and too...

You're back!

strongbhoy:
Awesome. I'll definitely check those places out.

If you know of anything else, keep me posted!

So far I heard the Bus tour/Thames cruise is worth it to get a feel for London, and its relatively cheap.

I finally have more than 5mintues I can devote to updating, it's been a fairly hectic few weeks. Consequently I am now going to be more tired for work on Monday than I was leaving it on Friday - a favourite trick of mine!!

Highlights have included...

Playing with my bike (now the handlebars are straight - thought it was harder to balance than i...

I'm surprised they never had a pub quiz thing around here, you think it would be another gimmick to get the college kids out!

I'd definitely do it. We usually have drinking jeopardy, which is close to the same thing. biggrin

That's the one! Its a great show.

Oooh, nice pics.

And, in response to your question from ages ago: being the 'master of chicken' entails having the ability to charm all fowl by shuffling your feet and blinking rapidly.

Hope you feel better soon.
strongbhoy:
Well, I'm a huge rugby fan. I'm downloading the Six Nations matches right now.

Ireland vs. Italy just finished. Let's hope Ireland answers the call.

Another late night - somehow if I stay up for as long as possible on Sunday night it means I don't have to go back to work so soon!!! It's like waiing up for Santa as a kid....

Went to See "memoirs of a Geisha" tonight, have been looking forward to it for ages and damn it was wicked. Stunning! You know the feeling when...

Its excellent. The first book that shows the inner workings of a Professional team.

Definitely buy it, you'll love it.

Oh, and Davids! I was shocked he signed for Spurs, I never knew they had that kind of signing power, but I'm glad they got him.

That's what I saw when I was a little kid.
