Well....I signed back up, again! hehe! I can't resist a bargain it seems! Plus the reasons for not being on this site became quite void!!
I shan't make any such foolish promises as saying I will be on here a lot, or update all the time, or make more friends...cos I really won't!! keep doing the same, keep getting the same...so I'm sure i will!!!
Things have not been so good of late, again. A lot of over emotive strife from pretty much all comers. it's taken a toll I should have to say, I've always tried to do the right thing in life - seeing as where it has got me and the lack of care it seems to allow people to show for me...I wish I hadn't!!! i can't help but dwell occaisonally - If I had put myself first, not cared who needed what, taken the drugs, shagged the easy girls and generally pleased my fucking self...I doubt i would be in any worse position than I find myself now.
For now that is all the moping I shall indulge in!! It has to come out somewhere I'm afraid!! I shall show you some pictures to make up (hopefully) for the diatribe!!!
A recent ish painting, a study from the dress maker's studios at college. Ink, acrylic, charcoal and emulsion on raw canvas - bout 6 foot in length....
Most recent painting for a transcription project for college, based on studies of "the Kiss" From the musee Rodin in Paris...
This photo was the highlight from a very disappointing gig I went to!! Well, the company was OK I spose ( :p) and I loved the roundhouse as a venue, but newton Faulkner was bollocks - perfectly in tune n all....just like watching an annoying student singing to his mates though....No Newton....I am not a ninja, much as it may disappoint me!!
I'm sure there is a million things to mention since I have been gone but they escape me for now. I will say that if you did not go and see "Be kind rewind" you must!! It was awesome!! And music wise I've absolutely loved Thrice's "Alchemy index" and Adele's "19"....go get them too!!
I have only 7 weeks left at college now which is quite surreal! The major final project will take 5 of those and will be HUGE i tell you! There will be the final exhibition to get in to and then hopefully another exhibit which is being used to advertise the college that I seriously want in on - Not that I have a competitive streak you understand!
Coming up I think I only have the Portishead gig in 2 weeks roughly which i am very excited by! tonight I should have been at a stag do in London but decided that it was only guilt that would have made me attend. I need my money to stay in the bank and much as I don't like to think it, those friends are really in the past now. No worries, things change...if you like it or not!!!
