I missed the Paris st.Germain game and also the courbet exhibit which i'm quite bummed about. The time just flew and then ran out. I got a good ole walk about Paris at midnight instead and also to the dome of the Sacre coeur by myself so it all balanced out well.
Some pics, i have millions and will sort through at some point!!
Also the Catacombs were closed which means I have missed them every single time now!! I'll just have to go again!! hehe! With company next time I think. This trip was fun and my roomie was a great laugh which was a relief. Got round to the Giacometti exhibit at hte Pompidou and was completeyl blown away. I love those moments of clarity you get when you know you are doing something right and something that will stay with you for a long time. Was absolutely beautiful.
I'm already trying to think what the next trip should be! There is a small week long tour of Vienna and in to Italy my brother and i have been offered from his mate who can't take it up. would be coach again, not sure on that....we'll see i guess.
Since my return I've been painting more and getting more frustrated with it than normal, but probably have more idea...it's almost like i cant work through things quick enough. I know where i want to concentrate on painting for a while so i will keep those pieces happening.
I'm nursing a mild hangover today as got back in about half 3 this morning. Took the opportunity of my wednesday off to go to the student night in town and get thoroughly trollied - dance like a fool to a lot of nu-rave nonsense!!! great fun, will do it again soon as possible too!!
That is all for now!!
...ah twat!! I forgot to resize the pics...and now I cant be bothered!!
Glad you had a good time too; I would love to go to Paris again and your pictures have reminded me that I need to sort this out!!
xx
