I finally have more than 5mintues I can devote to updating, it's been a fairly hectic few weeks. Consequently I am now going to be more tired for work on Monday than I was leaving it on Friday - a favourite trick of mine!!
Highlights have included...
Playing with my bike (now the handlebars are straight - thought it was harder to balance than i remembered!!) Half hour bombing around the park around dusk time is such a cool way to relax - I will take some pics next time as they really went to town on this park, part of the town millenium regeneration projects. There's an ampitheater and a wicked sculpture representing a DNA strand thats about 30foot long....you'll see!
Catching up with a friend I don't see enough of and ripping it out of another friends band (who I see far too much of!) He's doing some gigs around the Uk including supporting Doomriders up North somewhere - Check out "carmen" on myspace if you like your noisecore stuff.
Pub quiz on thursday - getttin ridiculously trollied with the flatmate and his dad - and beating our normal team by one point!!ha! And boy did I look sexy strolling around town with my homemade bronze medal for a third place finish!!
Playing badminton with my bro - not a favourite sport at all but it's been a while since my exercise featured actual competition....looking forward to more, tennis next time I think though, badminton was fun but tennis is the game I think - something you can really but your back in to, as opposed to just yr wrist!
Oddly spending two days fitting a new floor for my mum - Been a lot of hard work, my hands are completely ripped to bits and I have a rather gorgeous looking rash from the glass contained in the underlay boards (yeah i didnt read the packaging properly!!) But damn it looks good now!! Also got my handicapped twin brother's room looking pretty sweet, I like doing stuff like that for him - he's moving to a care home soon which is gong to break my heart, so the happier I can make him in the meantime the better.
And I think finally I'm going to take my first bath in years!! (I do shower normally!
) Somehow my body is crying out for it!!
For the past 2hours I've been visiting my "beers of the world" giftpack - a thoughtful pressie from a friend...so far i've popped to Germany, then darted over to the States...and can currently be found snuggled up in Japans warm, if oddly sour, busom!!
