Been a little while since I last updated so here goes...
As usual been sleeping not a lot, drinking too much, thinking quite a lot and working faaar too much!!
I'm trying to think of a new direction to go in career wise - in that I dont have one now!! I work for money and it's no way to be. Starting to look in to webdesign as it combines creative aspects in to what could be a very interesting and varied career. something that gives back as much as you put in. Not sure, just the seed of an idea at the mo.
Went to see the Edward Scissorhands ballet and was a bit disappointed alas. Second act was far better than the first but in places it just dragged with people running about. Maybe it's too much of a narrative to convey in dance. The classic ballets have a defined theme like love/hate/jealousy etc which translates to dance far easier than a multi faceted plot. I will defintiely got o see more ballet though soon, something more classical next I think.
Plus side the Narnia film wasn't a let down at all - I thought it was just super!! Aslan rules!!
Saw Baise Moi for the first time yesterday - I'm not sure I'm old enough to be watching that stuff!!jeeeez, there's a lot of blood and cock for one film!!
Memoirs of a Geisha is out over here this weekend and I'm really looking forward to it. Love the visuals of the part of the chinese culture. I am so going to see it for myself sometime soon.
Take care y'all.

edward scissorhands in ballet form? hm...that sounds interesting. sucks that you found it to be somewhat disappointing. only thing i've seen is the nutcracker ballet. i'm a big fan of the opera though. the magic flute is amazing.
oh, and weren't geisha's japanese?
That's what I saw when I was a little kid.
