Ahhh to be back in the Springs after a year. The mountains were the most beautiful site I've seen in so long I can't remember. A very unusual statment to make, considering I lived by a mountain in Afghanistan, but, meh, this one is better. A bunch of bs classes about how deployment changed us...as if we can't tell. Then again, some of these guys are probably not too self aware, so I could see them needing it. But the best news of all, one week from tomorrow and I'll be holding my baby girl again. Ok, she's not really a baby anymore, she's almost 4 (where does the time go?) but regardless I can't wait. AAAAAND, we're headed to the happiest place on earth, DISNEY WORLD!!!! at the end of June. It's going to be a blast. But in the mean time, I'll be enjoying Virginia, seeing if it still feels like home, camping, maybe hit Busch Gardens, fishing, recording an EP, seeing old friends. Gotta make up for lost time. I feel like I have so much to say, but then I don't really have enough words in my limited vocabulary to express myself at the moment. I guess if I keep up this word vomit, or pick up my Tumblr again, or something, I'll get back to it. Most of the writing lately has been for the recording, but that's probably not the best to share at the moment.
Guess I'll post more later.
