One more day of Festive anguish to go, and it can all be put aside for yet another year.
Anyhow, a question, what has been your favourite Christmas ever ?
He has two,....
the first many many moons ago and his first real sweet heart. The first Christmas with somebody he really relly fell for.
Joey was her name and she lived outside the City in a picturesque little village and went out of her way to make everything perfect for the few days off that he had to spare inbetween the rigours of musical touring.
They had dinner, They opened presents, they went for walks in the snow, it had actually deemed to snow that year here. They made snowmen in the fields and snow angels on the ground and fought snow fights to the end, laughing like there was no tomorrow.
Unfortunately there was a tomorrow and in the months that followed it became a case of one tour too many.
The other most memorable christmas time was with the wicked witch of the east and Christmas came four weeks before the Junior did.
Because of this they closed shop, un-plugged the phones and shut the world out. They hibernated away from the families as they just wanted to be by themselves along with baby bump.
It snowed that year too, ( pattern emerging ), and he dragged her around on a sledge along the river bank and Dock sides of the old converted Docklands where they lived. They felt they were closer than ever and were looking forward to a wonderfull future.
Got that one wrong as well.
Even more ironically, her and the Junior now live in the same Village that Joey did.
