Why are cards so expensive? I bought my mom a $3 birthday card from Walgreens and it probably cost 25 cents or less to print.

The other day a man came in my office to complain about a number of things one of our doctors had told him. He said he has a swollen testicle, chlamydia and is HIV positive and would like to be put back on Viagra, which our docotr would not prescribe as his last had. WTF? My tax dollars (and yours) are funding this man being on Viagra? Remember, I work in an indigent care clinic, all of my work stories come from a federally funded place. I felt for the man a bit until he started cussing at me. Then, game over. My boss heard and politely "introduced herself".
