That time of the month again... Time for a HUG COUNT UPDATE!!!!

Hug 135: Sept 4, 10PM-ish: Female, 21

I was at with friends, having tea. There was DJ Jinx (put her first to because she likes to think she is the most important), Distress, and E.V. present. We are getting ready to leave because E.V. was leaving to go to Europe the following day. As we were leaving, I first got a hug from Distress.

Hug 136: Sept 4, 10PM-ish, right after hug 135: Female, 21

After the hug from Distress, I gave a hug to E.V. and wished her fun on her trip to Europe.

Hug 137: Sept 6, 10 AM-ish: Female, age withheld

Me and my bro went off to see the 'rents, and I had to do laundry. I got a hug from my Mom when I got to the parent's place.

Hug 138: Sept 6, 9PM-ish: Female, age withheld

After a good meal of fried chicken and some games played, me and my bro had to go home. As I was packing up my laundry and taking it to the car, I got a hug from my Mom.

Got another hug from my Mom when I actually left.

Hug 140: Sept 18, 7PM-ish: Female, 27

Sometimes I stay at work after I am done because I meet up with people in the downtown area. I do this for tea nights most of the time. As such, I get to spend time with some co-workers that I enjoy the company of. Chains is one of these people. This particular Friday evening, I got to spend a whole 2 hours with her just talking about stuff and things. I even got a chance to walk with her to the train station. As I was getting off the train, I gave her a hug.

Hug 141: Sept 24, 3:20PM-ish: Female, late 20's

So, back on the 22nd it was my birthday. The Dictator promised me a hug and a cupcake. When I came by her desk on my way out, she asked if I was ready for my hug. I said I was. Then from 10 feet away, she ran at me. This one is a candidate for "hug that was most like a tackle" award this year. On a side note, I still haven't gotten that cupcake.

Hug 142: Sept 25, 6PM-ish: Female, 24

I was invited over to my cousin's place to see their new baby boy. First I stopped by my parent place to pick them up, because they like to drink and I don't, therefore I am the driver. When I got there, me and my parents went inside. I got a hug from my cousin's wife, which I don't know the correct relation term for this person. But her nickname will be Goldielocks.

Hug 143: Sept 25, 6PM-ish: Female, age unknown

After entering my cousins' place, I walked in and said some hellos to my cousin and Goldielocks' family who were there. I then was greeted with a hug from Goldielock's grandma, which I will name Silverlocks, and might be a contender for oldest person I have hugged this year.

Hug 144: Sept 25, 6PM-ish: Male, 9 days

So, I got to hold my cousin's baby boy, which would make him my cousin once removed? Now, I know what you are thinking, "but holding a baby is not a hug. You can't count this." Well my friend I am. I looked up the a hug in on many dictionaries and even wikipedia. Each have call a hug a press closely especially with arms. That is what I was doing, I was holding the kid close so he would be supported. Also, wikipedia claimed cuddling to be a form of hugging, a long cozy hug. I would consider cuddling with someone a hug, if it happened. If you say, the baby didn't hug me back, I have many a precedent where only one party needs to be active in the hug (e.g. a hug from behind). Anyways, I am counting it.

The kid gets the nickname of Cool Hand. Anyways, the kid was very warm, which I didn't expect. Also, he will get the reward for youngest person I have hugged this year, unless I hug someone that is younger than 9 days.

Hug 145: Sept 25, 7PM-ish: Female, age withheld

As I was making my plate to eat while still at my cousins' place, my aunty Suse arrived. She came up to me while I had a plate in one hand and a bottle of mustard in the other. I had to quickly put the mustard down before I gave my aunt a hug.

Hug 146: Sept 25, 9PM-ish: Female, age 24

Since my parents were leaving to go to Vegas the next morning, like they had to leave early, we were going to call it a night. On the long walk out, I got a hug from Goldielocks.

Hug 147: Sept 25, 9PM-ish: Female, age withheld

I also got a hug from my aunty Suse.

Hug 148: Sept 25, 9PM-ish: Female, age withheld

As I dropped my parents off, I got a hug from my Mom.

Hug 149: Sept 25, 9PM-ish, directly after hug 148: Female, age withheld

I got a hug from my Mom again.

Hug 150: Sept 25, 9PM-ish, right after hug 149: Male, 50

I got a hug from my Dad. Funny, hug 100 and 150 went to him.

Looks like things are stabilizing on the hug front. Hopefully they get better. I am sure they will with the holidays coming up.
