Well, the week was quite uneventful. But the weekend was very exciting. (This is a long one if you want to skip it, it is okay.)
Thursday:
I was the only one to show up at tea this week, which was expected. Since the entire tea group on the last Thursday of every month go to a local industrial/goth night (which I am not aloud to attend). In the mean time there was a some what concert happening at the tea house. I quite enjoyed it for some of it.
Friday:
Watched some movies that were on the boob tube. No not YouTube... or even PornTube... but the TV. Sillies. I watched Anything for Love. Oh, god was this a bad movie. It is about a guy who dresses up like a girl to avoid a bully, but then he can't stop dressing like a girl. Right from the start, I was thinking, this is going to blow in your face dude. And like all these comedy movies, it does. And who in their right mind would not see the dude as a dude... he might have looked like Tori Spelling while in drag, but he did not have any of the actions, walk, actions down at all. If you see this movie watch out for a young Allanis Moresette.
I also watched The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. Awesome movie! I don't know really how to describe the plot, but it is good. Well, here is the plot summary from IMDB:
The fantastic tale of a 17th century aristocrat, his talented henchmen and a little girl in their efforts to save a town from defeat by the Turks. Being swallowed by a giant sea-monster, a trip to the moon, a dance with Venus and an escape from the Grim Reaper are only some of the improbable adventures.
Watch out for Eric Idle, Uma Thruman, Robin Williams and Sting in this movie.
Saturday:
The title for this day should be, "They call me James, Sir James the Chauffeur Esq.".
Well, I was offer a position to be a chaufer for Awen and L for the night. They were going to go to a b-day party for a friend. I was happy to drive the two ladies around. For the night, I will have the name of James. James the Chauffeur.
Well, my first stop was to pick up Awen from her house. I got there early as usual as she was just finishing getting ready. Then it was off to pick up L. After that we were requested to get some extra supplies for the part at Safeway. It started to rain about the time we got to Safeway. (YAY! RAIN!) We were sent to pick up some pop and bbq charcoal, but that Safeway did not carry charcoal.
Next stop to see if we could find some charcoal, Home Depot! All we could find was porcelin brickettes. We asked if the charcoal was really needed, and it wasn't so we went without the black bricks of BBQ.
Just when I got out of the parking lot of Home Depot, I almost got into an accident. Here is what happened, I came out of the parking lot and into the right hand lane. I didn't notice anyone behind me when I left the parking lot. Then the turn off lane to turn right started just shortly after that we needed to be on, so I did a quick check of my mirrors, I had account of everyone in them. I started to change lanes and there was a truck in the turn off lane alright. I almost hit and in the process cut the dude off. Yeah, I know my fault, bad me for not also checking my blind spot.
Here is the kicker, when I cut him off he blew his horn something fierce, which I can understand. As I look in my rear view mirror, I can see the dude driving behind me is swearing up a storm. Oops. So, I do a "Jeeze, I am sorry dude" wave to him. I see him mouth, "Oh no. Fuck you, you fucking shit." The dude stays behind me, because he has to on the two lane road, and I can see he is just pissed. He was swearing and yelling for like 3 blocks. We finally get to a point where the road spans to four lanes (two in each direction). The dude pulls up beside me, has his window rolled down and is STILL yelling at me. Man.... well this is my first experience with someone having road rage. Phew.
So we get to the party (oh yeah, there is more that happened this day. ), and shortly after the 'filling of the fish' occurs. In this ceremony, the b-day person, must wear a Elvis custume and carry a fish vase up the to 6 people holding cans of beer, called fillers. The fillers all at once crack open the beers and pour them into the vase. Needless to say, the fish was overflowing with beer. Then Elvis reciets a small passage asking the fish for guidence, protection, etc. He then drinks from the fish and empties it. Then it was time for the b-day pepperoni which was bbqed on an open flame.
Thirty minutes after the Filling of the Fish, I was sent on an errand to pick up lemons from the local Safeway up by Brentwood station (you don't need to know where this is, just remember the name) because some guests wanted to do Tequilla (sp?). So off I went on my own. I percurred some lemons and returned with lemons in hand.
After about 15 minutes later and after I watched some boobage licking , I was sent with Awen and L to pick up more people to come to the party. I guy I will call Big J, and the Hairdresser. We went off to Brentwood station to pick them up. We parked at Brentwood because the others were across the bridge from the station. As we walked to pick up the peeps, I gots to hold hands with the lovely ladies. We met up with the new party members and went back to the party!
After about 30 minutes, I was sent out again to pick up more party goers. Again back to Brentwood station to pick them up. This time I was accompanied by Big J to help point out the person to me. We retrieved the new party member and returned to the party safe and sound.
By the time I returned, L was getting her hair cut by the Hairdresser. She is a hair dresser so she was quite happy to do the job.
After about an hour, I was sent out again to pick up marshmellows, because some of the guests wanted to roast some marshmellows. So back to the Safeway at Brentwood station. When I got there, they didn't have any of the jumbo marshmellows, only the little ones. And I was going to pick up some grahm crackers and chocolate so they could have smores. I then tried a near by gas station, but no marshmellows there. I returned to the party empty handed.
Upon my return, I was greeted with sad face but the appreciated the thought. I also got a kiss for my efforts, not going to say who the kiss was from. Elvis said he had something special to give me.... . He asked me to kneel before him.... He then proceded to knight me with a sword... a real sword. What were you guys thinking was going to happen? I knelt as James the Chauffeur, I rose Sir James the Chauffeur. So, apartenly, I might be a Knight.... in France or something... I don't know. I was also offered the favours of a lovely lady... not going to say which one.
Oh, but my great deeds don't end there. The hairdresser, after giving Elvis a hair cut, had to return to her apartment for some sleep. I drove the young miss home which was right by Brentwood station. Yes, another trip to the same area and back.
On returning, I was treated to some fire blowing from Elvis and a few others. Quite a feat.
About an hour later, there was one guest that had a wee bit too much to drink and L had to go home, so I was once again sent out to with another guest to get these ladies to their homes safely with Big J keeping drunken girl okay in the back seat. First L was dropped off. Hugs exchanged and then it was time to drop off the heavy drinker. Luckily, she was returned home without her puking in my car *phew*. Then back to the party. Notice how I didn't say Brentwood station in this trip.
The party was pretty much just us talking for the rest of the night. At about 3 AM I took the rest of the guests home, which was just Big J and Awen. First Big J because he too lived right by.... Brentwood Station. Well, at least time there was no return trip. Then it was time to drop off Awen. Hugs exchanged again. And I was reliefed of my duties for the night. *Phew*
I returned home at 4 AM.... what a long day.
Sunday:
(I will make this quick)
Saw my bro, dropped off some CDs.
Saw L and Awen as we watched Pirates 3! I thought it was a good movie, good ending. L had her hair dyed that morning, she looked good.
(See quick)
Have a great day readers!
The Optimus Prime costume - though completed - was not worn to the movie. I'll post pics of it on Wednesday, I think. Tuesday I work with the guy that it actually fits (he's a bigger guy with a pretty big head, lol - I've tried it on and I look ridiculous), so I'll get him to put it on again and I'll snap some pics.
