Update! Dun Dun DUUUUUUN!
Thursday:
Went for tea. Had a good time. I arrived early, because that is what I do, and there is this poetry reading going on. I have never been to a poetry reading before so I decided to stick around to check it out. It was okay, but I never really understood anything that was being said. I guess I can not hear poetry and understand what is going on. I just listen to the flow and sounds of the words.
Saw AWEN that night. She seems really tired. I worry about her. But then again, I usually only get unsolicited news from her when things are... less than perfect. I guess no news is good news! Just saying that my best wishes are with you.
Firday:
Went to a TV focus group this night. I met up with a friend at a pub down by the University. Had my chicken fingers and fries. Then we stumbled into Market Mall where my friend bought a purse. Then it was off to the focus group.
After learning that the focus group was suppose to take place in a much larger room that had been flooded, the MC went over the basic proceedings of the evening. There were door prizes, but lame ass ones. You had to circle what you wanted in your prize pack. Essentially, they got a sense of what people wanted and what brands were more popular.
Next we watched this, as the MC put it, "slow moving love story drama" called Soulmates. This was the worst crap I have ever seen on TV... EVAR! And I had watched Barney. The drama starred Kim Raver and Robert Knepper. I guess this was filmed back in the 80's or something. But man was this awful. Bad acting, bad editing... *shrivers*
Then there was a fill in a sheet to paper about the show.
Then we watched a sitcom called City. It was actually not bad. This one was actually on the air at one point. The reason it got taken off was because Valerie Harper was asking for too much money. Oh well. It was still a good sitcom.
Then there was more questionaires to fill out.
My warning... stay away from anything called Soulmates!
Saturday:
Nothing... Yeah, I don't think I left the house or talked to anyone, online or offline.
Sunday:
I talked to some people, but nothing amazing happened.
Monday:
Work.
Tuesday:
Sex with Sue. That is right. I went to go see Sue Johanson give a speech.
The "warm up" act was a comidian. He talked about relationships. It seemed to me that he was picking of the women... or Goddess Princess Warriors, but in his defence he stated that women have all the power. His main message, "Girls, give guys a break. The good guys and the guys that just want you for sex will act exactly the same when you first meet them. They will have bad pick up lines, be stupid and stare at your breastses. So, women, just give guys a chance before you reject them." Or something there of...
Then Sue came out... if you have not seen her in person, do so. You will learn something, even if you think you know everything, you will learn something. I learned that men don't have orgasmism every time they have sex. True they know how to get there more often, but they don't have one every time. When I first heard this, I was all like "WHAT!?", but as Sue explained it better than I can, but I will try.
There are some times when a man ejaculates but does not have those high emotions, muscle cletching, grunting, fist pounding, gripping, feet curling orgasims. This is true. There are time when I get off, I am happy, satified, but I don't go through all the motions. Then there are times when I have the feet curly, panting, fist poinding ones. And this is exactly what it must be like for a woman. They can have sex not have orgasim and still be statified.
Yet again, Sue can explain it better than I could....
Got me some free condoms and tissues (for cleaning up afterwards. )
Wednesday:
Got home, will to out for tea tonight.
Thanks for stopping by readers and have a great day!
