Hmmm... Update time...
Okay...
I just finished my first week off, well almost a week off. I went into work on Monday to do my expense report for my trip. YAY! Money!
Tuesday was Halloween. I only had 8 trick or treaters show up at my door. Gets me to wonder if people think that a drug dealer or something is living in my house? Anyways, more candy for me! HAHAHAHAHA
That night I was also debating if I should go to a local goth/industrial/dobauchary event, called Chimera. I know it would have been a great event to go to, because I know lots of people that are were going to be there. Like everyone that I have tea with. But there were factors that stopped me:
1. I didn't have a costume. I think it is very rude to show up to a Halloween costume event without a costume, especially if the event has a theme.
2. I was not really invited by anyone to go. I know it is a public event, but I still feel like the outsider and have been to one. I need promission to enter their turf so to speak.
3. There might have been people there that I am not in favor with. Because of such, I would need a reason to stay there. Some moral obligation like being someones DD. Or at the very least have someone there that would encourage me to stay. And frankly, I don't trust most of the people that I have tea with to do such things.
With the above reason, I would feel uncomfortable going to such and event and didn't.
Wednesday:
Today was very disappointing.
Okay, so before I left for Austin, there was this really cute girl that called me out of the blue. She wanted to hang out with me, but I was not able for two weeks, seeing that I am was going to another country. Well, I got back gave her a call, but was still not able to set up a time to meet her. She finally called me on Wednesday and asked if I wanted to get my hair cut. She is a young hair stylist and was bored. I needed a hair cut and wanted to meet her, so I went.
When I got to the hair salon, and she came out, I don't think she was looking for me. She glanced at me, the to the other side of the waiting/lobby/whatever the front room of the place is called, then back at me. There was a brief glimpse of surprise on here face. I somehow believe that she expecting someone else to be there instead of me. It gets me to wonder if there is a case of mistake identity here?
Disappointment #1...
She then proceeded to cut my hair. Same style as before, but with a different artist holding the blades. I think the highlight of getting my hair cut was that she was wearing this shirt what exposed her cleavage, all of it. It was really good to look at her boobs for part of the time.
She then finished cutting my hair, did some styling and put some (for lack of a better term) wax in my hair. It made my hair smell like chapstick and feel icky. I went with it just to try something new, but by the end of my day, I wanted the stuff out of my hair.
Disappointment #2...
After my haircut I decided to do some shopping. Coincidence has it, I ran into two people, a couple really, that I regularly have tea with. They asked me why I didn't show up last night at Chimera. I told them I didn't have a costume and they told me that was no excuse. Now I feel bad because people were expecting me to be there... and now I am wondering why they would think that?
Disappointment #3
I then proceeded to buy the new Weird Al CD, which is okay not as good as the last one. But White and Nerdy, the best song EVAR!!!
I also picked up the lastest Hairy Potter book. Yeah, I wait until they come out in paperback before I get them. So now I have something fun to read. I then sat down in the mall and read some of the book as I waited for the time to go to Deadman's Wheelchair. It is a proforming arts show, that celebrates creativity. And by an odd coincidence, JDRook recited a poem there. I was just wondering how he painted his head so well?
The show was okay, it had it moments, but it would have been better if I was not alone at the show. AWEN was suppose to show up, but with good reasons she didn't. I understand why she absent, but I think the show would have been better if I could share the expeience with someone.
Disappointment #4...
Thursday:
Tea with the dark kids! I was even able to stay out late and go to the pub afterward! And yet again, I was asked why I didn't show up to Chimera... now I am really wondering why people think I would have been there...
Friday:
zenFish's b-day. It was fun, I got to see some old acquaintances and met some new ones. I think he had a good time, he was tipsy by the end of the night. Tee hee. And I learned something that night, do not order suicide hot wings from the The Unicorn. It will melt your mouth off. Not something I learned personally, but through the doings of others.
Saturday:
Stayed in and played video games alllllllllll day long! I have been playing Final Fantasy XII since Tuesday. I have 40 hours on it already. It is like a full time job that game.
Today:
Hopefully, going to see a movie... Borat, maybe... we will see... I think I might call the cute girl up again... just to see if she is still interested in being friends and hanging out....
But definately play some more FFXII!!!!! It plays like an online game more than the traditional turn-based RPGs. I like it tough.
Anyways readers, your comments are always encouraged. Have a great day readers!

But at least you got to slyly stare at cleavage. When I get my haircut the stylist ALWAYS puts her boobs on me, accidentally I assume.
I have the same anxiety problems when it comes to social events as you do.
