Dum dum DUUUUUM....
UPDATE!
Okay, yesterday was nice.
I got up nice and early. I had a great chat with Naughty_Firefly. We talked about my current dating situation... and how I am totally screwed I am. I sometimes while trying to go to sleep lie in my bed and look at the other side. I see that half of my bed is empty. I wish there was someone there to fill it...
I want to go for walks in the rain while holding someones hand...
I want to cuddle with someone on snowy nights while watching a movie...
I think I am ready for love, but I have no options.
*le sigh*
Okay... back the rest of the day.
I head off to the SE section of Calgary. I go and get my Mother a card and some flowers for Mother's day. I show up at my parents place and give my gifts to my mother. She loved them. Thanks cute flower girl!
Then we went to my dead great aunt's house in the NW section of Calgary to pick up some bookcases and a table with chairs. There is me, my Mom, my Dad and my Brother. We try to put the two tall cases in first but then the truck hatch wouldn't close because the cases were too tall. And my Dad didn't have bungie cords to hold everything in place. So we just take the table that was missing chairs and a short bookcase.
We get half way to my place when my low fuel warning comes on. My Dad asks where the nearest Shell station is. I say the only one I know about is the one down where my parents live. After I finish my sentence, a Shell station come into view.
Gased up we go to my house in the NE. We drop off the load and head to a local auto parts place to pick up some bungie cords. Damn it was bright out. And I forgot my sunglasses.
Then back to the NE great aunt's house. My brother, the supreme tetris player, figures out how to put both of the tall cases in the truck with out having the hatch open.
Back to the NW to drop off the cases. We stop for some hotdogs.. the last of my food.
The to the SW section of Calgary to visit my Papa. He was put into the hospital last Tuesday. I didn't know what went wrong only that an ambulance had to be called in. Turns out there is a problem with his heart that they don't know about. The doctors didn't seem worried about anything, just that there was some irregularities. My Papa seems good when I saw him. So I have the best hopes for him.
Then back to my parent's house in the SE. We have a quick dinner of beef dip and corn on the cob. Hmmmm... Watch the end of Survivor. (Damn you Terry, why didn't you use the Immunity Idol... FOOL!) But yay for Aras.
Then I watched the first two periods of the Oilers vs the Sharks. There were only three goals in the first two periods and the Oil was up 2 to 1. I drove home expection to catch most of the third period. Get home, turn on the tv. The score is 4 to 3 for the Oilers. I mised 4 GOALS in first 5 minutes of the third period! What the hell? The Oilers won, so I am totally happy!
GO OILERS!
Woke up the morning. Had the morning shower and started my walk to the train station. I could smell the sweet lilacs growing on the trees... I love that smell... there is nothing that reminds me more of spring like that smell. I have missed it. Now if we could make it rain non-stop, this would be perfect.
Oh, and since my Papa is in the hospital getting his heart fixed, my parents are going to Vernon this weekend. I think I might get to stay here. And be able to go to Demonika's show this weekend. Sounds like fun!
Oh... Got food today too!
Have a great day readers!

salome:
Thanks for the supportive comment on my blog about mental illness. I wish more people were as open-minded and compassionate -- not to mention accepting of proven scientific fact -- as you are.
