Hey hey, I'm back.
Been charging round like a mad woman the3 last couple of weeks as I finally started uni! 2 hours on the train each day is doing my head in though, I'll be okay once I've got reading to do but at the moment it's so boring.
Pretty much everyone I've met on my course are great, couple of people who are taking the "I know what I'm doing, see ya!" approach while I'm going "Hang on, GROUP project. That means you get your arse in that studio, I'm not killing myself to get you grades" With a bit of luck they'll drop out soon. I've got no problem with working in the pub with a pint if we're brainstorming ideas but I cannot stand people who assume if there isn't a lecture or tutorial they can bugger off home. Like I said, I'm travelling an hour each way. I want to get in, get stuff done and get home, play with the dog, relax maybe even eat before stupid o clock.
But I do love the course. There's so much covered, my brain may explode in three years but I love learing things. I was also quite chuffed as one of the lecturers told me I was a natural at the course. I spent a week trying to work out where I knew her name from then realised she'd written the book I was reading. So double chuffed.
Aside from that my loan has been and gone, the dog has suddenly decided he loves me and keeps wanting cuddles, and the new whildhearts album is wicked. Someone was very pissed off when they wrote the lyrics!
