there was a comment posted in my journal yesterday, from one Ms. Rose Marie. she is an absolute heart's delight, and my own aches everytime i remember she's far away in texas. but then i also feel so much gratitude, for having spent the little bit of time with her that i did. and most of all, that the time spent was quality enough, that i can call her friend.
the comment directed me, with sly kitty kat curiousity, to look in my testimonials, because there was a surprise waiting me.
and not only was there a dreamy vision of bluebonnets from miss rose, there were also so many other testimonials, from all of you dear hearts! i had NO idea so many of you had taken the time to leave little notes of love.
thank you all so very much. i really do love all of you, and i mean that in a very true sense.
i've been having a very deep and intimate email dialogue with a newly RE aquainted friend. and he remarked that the nature of our conversations could be likened to the old pagan beltane rites. where, under the guise of a mask, you would choose someone at the beltane fire to make love with...not based on a personality platform, but on their essential self...and behind your mask, you were free to let loose your own essential self as well.
these computer screens that connect and also seperate you and i, are a techno version of an ancient desire...to see and be seen for who we truly are, at the most core level possible. little cyber optic beltane masks.
everyday i feel you resonate and respond to who i truly am, and it's such a gift when sometimes there is no-one else in my 'off-line' world who is. by the same token, i am graced with glimpses into your beautiful souls, and i feel honored and awestruck.
