Today is England day at work. Actually it is "International Food Day." My lame work mates picked England for my team, while I was away on assignment.
Those of you that know me, particularly my UK friends, know that I am a huge anglophile. I watch BBC-America channel, listen to BBC radio, watch Sky 1 and follow the footie. I love the mod and punk cultures that developed in England. I get weepy when God Save the Queen is played and secretly wish I could have worn "the three lions on my chest." However, if there is one thing that I DO NOT like of UK and particularly England is the food. I am armed with Bangers and Mash for this thing. However, it is foul. Aside from being a vegetarian, I cannot imagine how you people eat that!

Since I cannot wear my Liverpool FC shirt to work (I still have to be somewhat professional), I am wearing my mod best. I have a mod suit I got from Merc in London, English dress boots (vegetarian shoes brand), a skinny tie I bought on-line from Italy and trying to approximate a mod hair style with my current hair style. That is pretty much what I did two years ago when my little brother got married. I was the best man. We decided that we were going to be mod.
That is what this pic is from (I cut the rest of the people out. I don't want anyone to complain).

I'll be singing Paul Weller songs all day in my head by the way. Paul is my mod idol.

The last time I heard the most popular dish in the UK is now Chicken Tikka Massala - not by bag at all, but it does show you how diverse the UK is.
Enjoy the ride (today right?) - let us know how you get on, and also how Acacia is too.
