B-day's coming up next week I think... Way behind on making any plans at all. It may end up boiling down to just a hang out and a few people.
I've been considering moving to RI. My bestest friend is living out there now and needs a roommate. The only question left for myself really is what is there for me out there? The atmosphere and area he lives in sounds really, really nice. Ultimately though, I'm at the point where I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere at my current job. Unless there was something similar in RI, which is doubtful, I would basically be getting a job to get by, but would also allow me to focus completely on my own projects (many long forgotten and many never started). My friend is working on a lot of personal art and writing projects, and it may be a good environment for me to feel the drive to create.
Either way, he needs a roommate by the end of next month or something and I still have to get out of a rent hole, then would have to gather the funds to get out there, AND enough to live off of while looking for another job. I must say, it's not looking hopeful. One of my friends that lives in the area (kinda. as much as that implies in LA County) is also possibly looking for a new place and roommate. I dunno. First thing's first though and that's the rent hole. Once that's out of the way and we're all caught up on that, options will actually be worth considering.
PS - I'm getting pretty good at ping-pong. I love that game.
PPS - Dodgeball tournament at work. Should be fun! Been practicing during lunches lately and my arm is sooooore. Then again, the rate of me getting any sort of rub or massage is so rare, my whole body's usually one huge knot.
