"If we could read the secret history of our enemies,
we should find in each mans life sorrow and suffering
enough to disarm all hostility."
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
I think that the above quote is a good reminder that it is easy to feel anger towards others over perceived wrongdoings and misunderstandings, without understanding the true context of the situation. Compassion is key, and its a lesson that goes both ways: theres two sides to every coin, two sides to every story, and the trick is seeing that clearly, seeing past petty animosity towards the realization that everyone has pain that causes them to do certain things, and act out and react to certain situations in ways that are often not the best. Its easy to hold grudges and be angry and hateful, and much harder to forgivebut ultimately much more rewarding.
Question:
1.) Who is a person (or persons) in your life you wish you could have forgiven but never had the chance to?
we should find in each mans life sorrow and suffering
enough to disarm all hostility."

Probably my sixth grade teacher. I was such a little hellian. I thought she was a bitch for disciplining me and I was never nice to her.
Turns out she was great.
That's a good quote.
1) You always have a chance to forgive someone right?
Not to their face perhaps but forgiveness is how you feel inside not necessarily whether you external to be said.
I hold no major grudges anymore.
Any word on SGSD?
