I had a stupid falling out with an old friend this weekend so that's what I've been a bit depressed about. It's been a little weird for me since I moved back to SD, sort of starting over in some ways and trying to meet new people, and then to go through a bunch of stupid bullshit with someone who I thought was an old friend just sucked. But c'est la vie, right? As Buddha says, life...is suffering. It's how you handle it that counts...
Questions:
1.) What's the worst "falling out" you've ever had with a friend?
2.) What's the scariest place you've ever been to? (ie, foreign country, local bar or club)

2) A TJ jail cell. got drunk... got into a fight...i was detained... watching people shit and piss in a whole in the ground... very scary stuff.
Third truth, a way out of suffering aka "nirvana". Ceasing of desire and attachment is the cease of suffering.
Fourth truth, "dharma" a way of conduct out of attachment and "dukkha".
You gotta love it when it's that tidy and logical.
1) I guess a girlfriend doesn't count huh? The funny thing is that dramatic arguments and whatknot aren't as final and separating as just slowly drifting apart.
2) You know funny thing was I couldn't think of anyplace for a while and then the comment above reminded me and it was obvious - the 16 hours I spent in jail downtown.
Also I did some travelling. The first night was in bangkok which was freaky for me being the first time there starting my trip, arriving past midnight.
Coming into Calcutta was even freakier, an amazingly filthy and chaotic place.
