oh, and i totally agree with you: ultra-leftists are often even more pretentious than the ultra-rich conservative republicans that they're fighting against! the difference is is that the former can never admit that they're elitist snobs!

Sorry to hear about your sick weekend. I too am a bit dissapointed in the lack of support for the Stereolab thread. No, I have not seen them. I really want to see them. In fact, I think they may have once done a tour with Tortoise. That would have been a heck of a show. I will have to catch them next time they hit NYC.

I see you like Hornby. Did you read High Fidelity? And if so, what did you think?
