Watched the Superman teaser last night!
There wasn’t a lot to see, but the original John Williams score and Brando’s voiceover gave me goose pimples nonetheless. I’ve heard some worrying rumors about the performances, but hopefully the editor can salvage ‘em.
…But I just don’t get why they cast Kate Bosworth as Lois… I suppose you could make the argument that this was done in homage to Margot Kidder, in that she too was supposedly attractive, yet I’ve never actually met anyone who thought that she was.
A bunch of people got fired yesterday. I knew something was afoot - whenever you see people clustered and whispering, it’s never a good sign. Thankfully I emerged unscathed… so far. Not that I was particularly worried, but you know how it goes: when the boss is in a firing mood, watch out. It’s like ripping off a band aid; better to just do it all at once.
At any rate, we’re in that lull before the holidays, which is nice in that it’s afforded me a bit of time to actually read for pleasure. I just finished a book about the history, disappearance and search for the Amber Room. If you like historical mysteries, go give it a google – interesting stuff.
I’ve also been reading some of Philip Jose Farmer’s Wold Newton Universe essays. Awesome! He was definitely the intellectual precursor of Alan Moore.
All for now. Have a great weekend.

I look forward to a tour when we can do it properly. Maybe early December, perhaps?
Oh: and Walk The Line? One of the best films I've EVER seen.
Ever.
Cheers.
Ps: i know that I'm signed in as you right now, but I'm too lazy to sign out and re-comment, although the time it took me to write this was ample enough to have done so.
Eh.
Love,
P.E.
