Stock photography certainly isn't expensive because they pay the *photographers* much. Money-grubbing bastards!

Unfortunately, I don't have any libraries that have much in the way of kids or babies.

You might try a search on photo.net, though. A lot of the reader-submitted photos there are free for stock use--I have occasionally found exactly what I am looking for there.
