"My wife and I were watching "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" while we
were in bed.
I turned to her and said, "Do you want to have sex?" "No," she
answered.
I then said, "Is that your final answer?" She didn't even look at me
this time, simply saying "Yes."
So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend."
And that's when the fight started...."
A friend of mine fwd me that...I had to share.
OK mission done. Nothing spectacular was accomplished. Everyone is ok. Nothing to worry about. In fact, I was pretty bored out of my fucking mind the whole time. We took over a house for "overwatch" during the event. Naturally there were guard shifts...mine was on the roof manning the 240 (um..big machine gun). Now, again, nothing really hardcore is going down, so im up there with my ipod on random and scanning the street. Then "Walk Away" by Sonya Kitchell comes on and I am nearly over whelmed with the irony. I love the song, it takes me to a place that feels alot like sleeping in on a sunday morning. Yet, im sitting on a roof pointing a instrument of death up and down the street while humming this song. IDK...it was wierd.
On the way back listened to Queen on the internal comms...the entire ride. Naturally I sang the whole time. I was in the air guard hatch at the back of the stryker. No IED's, no suprises and me singing Queen at the top of my lungs.....ya wierd, but a lot of fun.
I have accepted a few things I think. Which is making it easier to just be. I'm finding my old self again and starting to have fun again. So I guess everything is working.
I know I have picked up a few more friends while I was gone but I think I have dropped everyone a line. Except Royal.....she's super hot and intimidating. lol. Anywho, if anyone needs anything give a holla. I will be around.

well Im glad nothing big happened while on the mission.
As long as you are happy with your old self then finding your old self is a good way to be.
Well if you dropped me a line I have missed it.
The millionaire joke is pretty damn funny.
