yay, i finally have internet at home
but
booo.... my computer hasn't been online in two years and all my programs are out of date.

AND we can't download the updates unless we upgrade the OS.

booooo....

i suppose it was inevitable that my computer would be obsolete, but that's so much easier to ignore when it's not online.
