I had a notion that me and beautiful mutha efer would clean our apartment today, but plans changed. Instead we opted to stagnate in the mess and lay on the futon. TV, food and fun. It's always good to just fuck around in meaningless bliss.
Meanwhile, the skies have opened up and God is shitting layers of snow on Toledo. Snow in ohio is as useful as a vibrator to a nun. There are no mountains. There are no hills. Ohio -- the bane of all freedom and intelligence, as well as my existence.
Unfortunently Club Necto was not as great as I had hoped. I have a hard time understanding why DJs like to play music that is so far removed from the normal ear, as if playing some obscure bullshit will somehow excite a crowd. Isn't being a DJ the same as being a waiter. You are there to serve the crowd and give the best experience possible. I am always for some new music. I am not for hours of endless crap that i have never heard and is merely pumped out of the sound system to give me ear cancer. Nothing is wrong with playing a little Rob Zombie, KMFDM, or other such music that people can actually relate to and be stimulated by. On the other hand, me and beautiful efer made the best of it and had a good time
-- but I can't wait to get back to BG where most of the DJs understand what the people want to hear.
