So this homework took my mind to a very special place so here we go..
Empowerment starts with a strong foundation and how I empower the most important but tiny woman in my life, my sweet daughter, is by waking up everyday and teaching her. Teaching her love and light. Teaching her how valuable she is to this world and the people she gets to make an impact on their lives. How strong she is and will become. How beautiful her soul is and the light she carries that no one can take from her.
Surrounding her with strong individuals that will build her up and carry her through the darkest times yet to come and I will teach her brother to respect and support her in the manner she needs.
I empower her by giving her the tools and knowledge she needs to empower herself as she grows and not be dependent on anyone for the validation of how incredible she is.
I empower her by empowering fellow women in front of her. By not passing judgment on things i dont know or understand. By teaching her that her body is her own and her right hook will back that up. & futher more to trust that I will always be here to have her back.
I empower her so she will empower others. So she will be confident in herself and just how powerful ALL women are.
I dont post pics of my kiddos here so heres 18yo me, pregnant with my incredible daughter.
