Alrighttttyy! So I feel like this blog can be taken 1 of 2 ways. 1 - useless facts in general that I know OR 2 - useless facts about me that other people don't know soooooo I'll do 2 of each to cover all the basis for yall.! ;)
So #1. Vikings, or norsemen as they referred to themselves as were among the first group of men and women to allow their women basic rights. Yes they still married em off young and all that jazz.. but a woman could fight in battle, request a divorce, and even own land on her own WAYYYY before most other cultures allowed this. Raddddd af, yay for female power!
& #2 In ancient Greece there was only 2 ways to get a tombstone on your grave when you died. If you died during battle or during childbirth. Because the held the pain and sacrifice on the same level. Which issssss dooppppeeeeee.!
__Now for the useless fact about yours truly__
1. Soooooo if you couldn't tell I'm pretty into all the viking ishhhness.! So my next tattoos I'm planning are to get some of the old viking runes on my hands. I absolutely love their stories and learning about the lives they lived. So much that my living room is themed a lot in the style they used to decorate in! 😈
2. Completely weird and useless fact lol I have a geographic tongue. Which essentially means that my tongue gets these weird patterns and holes in it when I eat food that's too citrusy or spicy. It doesn't really effect much unless I eat wayyyy to much then It will hurt really bad. No way to fix it. Just weirdddd. Oh and apparently runs in the family because I passed it on to my daughter. (Sorry kid oops)
