i don't know, i think we just seem to attract what we don't want....like when you're ready to be single and alone, everyone seeks you out, know what i mean? that's actually what happened with me....i was never going to marry (it was a dirty word in my book) , quite happy being single and on my own when BAM...here comes my soul mate to forge a long distance relationship for a year before we finally moved together and married....so be prepared and enjoy single life!!

that is awesome! activism is soooo important - i was surprised that so little happened on my campus. ahhhh, well - i mentioned it to my students at least.

long distance relationships - argh. they are always such a challenge! i hope you work things out in the best possible way for you.

maybe you should get together with this girl for a date or something, like go see a film and see how you feel about her outside of sex..but if you don't have time for that, just ask her if she wants to have a quick lunch

Diablo, I heard that can be quite addictive. I use to play a lot of games on the pc but now just stick with one game, a football (soccer) manager game

and yes, i know, it would hurt a lot of people....but what if no one knew about it?? oh, if only i could just get away with it, i am so bad

about half of america didn't want Bush, it really sucks. i just hope he doesn't do anything stupid within the next 4 years to screw things up some more

i appreciate your comment, it's nice to know someone can relate. It's hard having parents who are so close-minded and can't accept the fact that their offspring just might not be carbon copies of themselves. I guess I can't spend my life trying to please them, especially when I'm trying to find out who I am myself, right? On another note, I'm sorry your date sucked, but hey, it's not shallow...if you're not attracted to a person, it's just not gonna work...end of story. =) don't sweat it.

The album the song "Gone Away" comes from is Year of the Spider. It's a good album that you should definitely pick up.

I suggest you hang on to that "Gone Away" song though, cuz it's a hidden track on the limited edition first release of that album. As you most likely know, it's a pain in the ass having to fastforward through all the silence to get to a hidden song. So I imported it into Pro-Tools and my comp and cut out the dead air. Also, I think that after the first several thousand copies, they put a different hidden track on the rest of the Limited Edition versions. Either way, it's worth picking up cuz the bonus DVD has lots of good stuff on it, interviews, studio footage, live acoustic footage, the video for "Stupid Girl", and "making of" for that video.

By the way, Lennon whose song comes before the one by Cold is an SG here. I joined this site when she announced she was going to become an SG. You should check her out too. If you ever get to see her live, don't be afraid to go so hi to her after the show, she's one of the nicest rockstars you'll ever ever ever meet.
