Well, end product of last night's debacle: Darkchylde got pissed enough, called Samsung and DEMANDED they fix the television...they tried to charge us $500 for a TV that's barely three years old! So, after the idiot on the phone said, "yeah, we've been having that problem since 2008..." he LOST it and told them they shouldn't be selling faulty products with full knowledge of the issue. needless to say, someone will be here to fix the set in the next couple of days...for FREE!
And he always told me I was a bitch with retail companies and customer service...lol- that's how you get shit done with people in that industry. I know because I WAS in the industry
Threaten them with losing your business and bad mouthing the company name/ writing down the "unhelpful" operator's name to scare them into submission, and spouting valid truths about the defects in the products will usually get you what you want. So, phew! We couldn't afford another one of those...
Due to the interruption of television in my living room, also means that I may be a bit less active for the next few days...However, I plan on using them to full advantage. *BIG things are planned here, people...BIG THINGS!*
Well, not so much big as me not sitting by the computer all day and actually getting some work done. Body and work-wise.
And this time: I've decided to start with the bedroom. Usually, I would start with the high traffic areas such as the living room, bathroom, or kitchen- but I need a place to put my work/ dream catcher supplies away, and a little (CLUTTER-FREE) retreat for me to unwind in- away from the main house. Eventually...HOPEfully, there will be one outside as well before summer is out
Cleaning and organizing the bedroom will also help me get some of the clutter out of the living room too, which will make cleaning that MUCh easier. Now, to find a way to keep my son entertained enough that he doesn't destroy my progress as i go along. (he likes to take out whatever i put away...must be a boy thing)
ALSO! Good news on the photo shoot front....Andrea (Ta2dFreek) and I will be shooting at least one set this Saturday...guess where?! MY PARENT'S HOUSE! Ohhh man, this is gonna be good...they have NOOO idea
get ready for a good one- fun fun FUN!
The other thing I've decided to do is, since I won't be making such frequent blogs, (well, probably only one or two/day as opposed to my usual 4 or 5
) is: I'm going to start carrying my camera around a lot more and get my exercise in. i'm trying to get my hands on an older but good, however inexpensive it will have to be, camera with one of those lenses I can focus by hand...(forgive the complete photography MORON that I am
) Either way...I'm going to have my camera on me a lot more, so i can take pictures of my travels and life a bit more. No matter how dull they and it may be at times. Ahhh, the life of a 15 month old
SO! I'll leave you with this for the AM:
My FAVORITE childhood story ( No wonder I turned out the way I did
)
The Frog Prince...Continued!
It's such a dark and screwed up children's tale, that I can't resist reading it to my own son.
AND! The WORD OF THE DAY:
enervate v 1: to reduce the mental or moral vigor of 2: to lessen the vitality or strength of
"Enervate" is a word that some people use without really knowing what it means. they seem to believe that because "enervate" seems a bit like "energize" and "invigorate" it must share their meaning-- when it's actually their antonym. "Enervate" comes from the Latin enervare, which is formed from the prefix e-, meaning "out of," and -nervare (from nervus, meaning "sinew" or "nerve"). Etymologically, at least, someone who is enervated is "out of nerve."

christopher_:
Hey thank you ..... words mean alot to me. i'm not concerned on my behalf because my guard is up. I do wanna be there for her aswell, but when she tells me she made a mistake on breaking it off with me while shes in the hospital is not good. i hope its the meds talking, i'll come down there to be there for her, But the law will have to do its job on him. i gotto much to risk with my career to go and punish someone for business thats not mine.
