I took the whole weekend off in honor of my birthday and let it bleed over to Monday. So on my actual birthday I am going to work. I'm okay with that except for the fact that they always give us flower arrangements for our birthdays at work. How am I supposed to get flowers home on the motorcycle?

My party on Saturday night was excellent. People from inside and outside SG had drinks together, there was phenomenal cheesecake, and gifts so exciting people got bruised. Samling wins the award for being the attendee who lived furthest away and still managed to be our designated driver. If you ever have the opportunity sample her cookies, they are very soft and sweet. Hopey said her last goodbye's and left us for Oregon freckle forgot her roller skates at home, so no cheesecake for her. The other events shall remain unmentioned...you know who you are.

My gf really made it all happen. I really needed a 'do-over' of my 30th birthday (cause it sucked really bad) and she exceeded the fun-o-meter. Best birthday ever.

Now I have to go to work. I'm going to leave the flowers on my desk. Next week I'll go to Des Moines and forget all about the flowers so that when I get back the smell will be just bad enough for the people around me to be annoyed.
