since i was a teenager i have had the belief that i am 5'9" tall. this has been my official documented height. today at the doctor's office i learned that i am 5'7 1/2" tall. she said "67 1/2 inches." i sat there, slowly doing the math, my head was not processing the information well. i thought wtf! i got her to re measure me and sure enough i am not 5'9". as if i did not have enough identity issues to grapple with.

hehehe.....yes, actually I used to always think I was 5'4 and a 1/2, until I was about 19 and at my physical my doctor said, yup, still the same, 5'2. Bah. I've been the same since I was 12. It IS depressing. The up-shot is that you get to ask all of the cute guys at the supermarket to reach items on the top shelves, even though you know you'd scale them if they weren't around.
