it is funny how the past comes back.
i used to manage information for a major canadian company (they produce 30% of the world's capacity of a particular product). it made me crazy that no one would listen when i told them that there was a wound that was bleeding to the tune of several million dollars a year. i even suggested ways to stem the flow, but they were not interested. one day i was informed that i needed my supervisor's signature to obtain a refill for my pen. that was the beginning of the end for me with that company. shortly after that i refused to falsify export documents which solidified my need to leave.
i went back to school and started a new career. today i used some of my hard earned skills in the data processing field and *shazam!* accomplished something, for myself, in about 5 minutes, a speed that befuddled my co workers. it was a satisfying moment.

Now if only I could do such a thing with my old job skills at my current job.
