my finger is not broken.
i have torn the ligament, however, and i am doomed to wearing a finger splint for FOUR weeks. this is to allow it sufficient time to heal. i asked if i could take it off for typing and the doctor asked me if i wanted a droopy finger for the rest of my life. i said "no, i do not like droopy things."
the good news is i get to give everyone the finger, and it is 'iron' clad too (well aluminum).
i should have hired someone to clean my house. i knew it was hazardous to my health. this is reminiscent of the toe injury of 2004. one does not appreciate small appendages as they should until they are damaged.
