Once, once upon a time I was a member of another alt-porn site, for about a month. It was basically to keep in contact with someone who was a bit of a personal friend.
The woman that ran it was extremely rude to me. At one point she made mention in a public forum she could buy a house with her checking account, and then later upbraided someone for a financial decision that most people without those kinds of savings would make. I merely pointed out that her response was removed from the reality of the person she was lecturing. Rich people are used to having money solve their problems for them, but that doesn't always work if you're part of the working class and/or working poor. HOW DARE I MENTION HER FINANCES, though I'd only pointed out the SAME DETAIL SHE HAD DONE. Needless to say, her aggressive attitude and general contempt made me call it a day. I don't pay people to be rude to me. That's another problem of trust fund babies - not used to people having free will.
Fast forward to a few years later, after I cancelled said account and was angrily badgered by said woman.
I get an unsolicited email suggesting I'd like to buy into one of several dozen sites said person runs. I declined and asked NOT to be contacted again.
I got a lecturing email about how having bought into her sites ONCE opts in to receiving any and all promotional email and that the lawyery small print says blah blah blah. I said that's nice, not interested.
Since then I have received no less than about NINE emails with lil Miss "having to have the last word" pretend to be a member of the "customer service" staff and how SHE is right and I am wrong.
Chuckles abound.
1) No customer service rep hectors someone for nine emails after they literally say "I am uninterested in being contacted by you."
2) No customer service rep works late nights on a Sunday.
3) No customer service rep would risk HER job (it's clearly female from the tone) berating OVER and OVER again someone saying "I am not interested in you or your services NOW GO AWAY"
4) No male would put up with being told that more than once. They'd simply ignore the conversation and walk.
5) Having dealt with this unhinged control freak before, this has her writing style and modus operandi written all over it. MOST NORMAL PEOPLE WORKING CUSTOMER SERVICE WOULD HAVE HIT THE ZOT BUTTON AND MOVED ON
6) No salesperson, having angered a potential client and angering said potential client more and more with every passing comment, keeps talking. Noone who stays in the job anyway.
I take it her bank account is a bit depleted, and daddy's trust fund for her is doing less than stellar in this market. For more than one reason now, I'm praying for a recovery.
