I've decide to work towards some self improvement, so I've decided to start off by giving smoking and drinking. It's been 24 hours since the last cigarette, and although I REALLY want another one, I think In another day or two I'll pretty much be over it. (I'm a half pack a day smoker, if anyone is wondering.)
As for the drinking, I've had some problems with alcohol induced depression in the past, and I think part of the reason I've been in a bit of a funk lately is because I've been drinking too much. I also get the feeling that I'm not as sharp as I used to be. I'll probably still have the occasional drink when out with friends, but no more getting drunk or having a beer by myself after work. I don't think it's going to make me super happy, but I think it will go someway towards helping.
Next step: exercise more, and learn how to cook.
Also, with the money I'm saving on alcohol and tobacco, I plan on decorating my skin. I'm undecided on whether I should get a nipple ring or another tattoo.
