I guess the new format isn't too bad. I can't find my bookmarks (I see the tab, but my bookmarks don't exist anymore) I don't like having to click on the friends... Read More
I'm sorry you have to head to the hospital. I'll be praying for your girl, her family and yourself. I am sorry you're having to go through this - all of you. ~hug~
I'm so glad to hear you're going to have a little bit of a rest here soon. You certainly deserve it. So you're coming to Denver during your break from school, right?
I am so freakin' discombobulated right now....confused, lost and scared.....what happened to SG??
I will get it eventually I suppose
I just had a thought....I haven't been around a lot these days, and I am not really sad about that. I don't think I like the new format.
I wonder what this may do to my activity on here?
I grew up in Courtenay and then moved to Vancouver for two years... And now I'm here! My boy and I have a "five year plan" out here, and then it's back to BC.
Thanks for the birthday wish! I met the adorable girl when I almost literally tripped over her at a friend of a friends Memorial Day BBQ. I told her she should give me her number so I could ask her out sometime, and she did. And 5 minutes later I text messaged her "Hey, want to go out sometime? " Apparently she appreciated my dorky ways, and said yes. We went out three times in the first week we knew each other, and spent almost all weekend together last weekend, and she'd taking me out for dinner for my birfday tonight.
So I am so busy and stressed about school right now, I come here to try and relax a bit and unwind, and I find myself rushing thru the photosets, barely reading the threads in my groups or the boards and not attempting to re-establish my friends on here b/c I can't think or relax......
(EDIT- Oct 22- I don't know if the proper word is ironic but since I have made the decision to take a break from SG I have had more fun and met more people than ever!!
I guess I never realized people read things I write and... Read More
I decided faxing my resume to the EMS services all over the province (which is the commonly accepted way to do it) is not working.
They probably get 5-10 a day- so none stand out. I DROVE almost 700kms (400 miles) to drop off a resume and meet the managers of four different services (was gonna do 6, but took too long).
That was yesterday,... Read More

Well - I haven't lived there in about 10 years but my parents and sister (who is a firefighter) still live there. I try to make it out at least 3-4 times a year to visit....infact - I'll be there at the end of the month
The only pointers I'd give you is review as much work as possible before selecting your artist. I'd also try to attend a convention somewhere so you can see a wide range of artists. As far as internet sites go I could list off some of my favorite artists, but none of them are in Canada, let alone Alberta. I've traveled a state over to get work from someone I wanted to get work from. You're getting it for life so a little travel and extra expense is well worth getting a tattoo you'll be happy with for life. And to get the best thing in this style, fly to Japan and visit Horiyoshi III.

and yay no school until October... I think I missed that the first time I read this... lucky!
