So, the wave hunt has been on today.

There was a little swell coming, supposed to hit Phillipp Island. I have been going there, but so had the wind.
Water was pretty chaotic and the wind smashed the waves before they were ridable.
Luckily at the end of the day I foind myself a spot were you could at least catch some. I'm feeling like...

For rad live music check out- The Arthouse (just outside the city), or Pony (on Collins St) and sometimes The East Brunswick Club

In the Summer you can/t go past Madame Brussels for jugs of cocktails and a rad outdoor terrace, Rooftop Bar and Cinema (check out Cookie whilst you/re in the building), for awesome cocktails and absinthe Polly on Brunswick St, our local Prudence in North Melbourne (awesome tunes, great booze...the Moscow Mule is delicious)

For cheap eats in the city head to Camys Shanghai Dumpling House (the veg dumplings are rad), DonDon on Swanston St (there is also one in Lonsdale St) (only one veg thing on the menu, the Tofu Don, but it/s awesome and cheap, there are also 2 Krishna places on Swanston St near the HiFi Bar, for pizza cheap eats head to Bimbos on Brunswick st for $4 Pizza Sunday-Thursday between 7pm-11pm or Monday to Friday for lunch 12-4, it/s also the same deal at Lucky Coq on Chapel St.

For awesome vegetarian/vegan food head to White Lotus for amazing mock meats and asian based dishes, it is a completely vegan restaurant- highly recommend the lemon chicken, the duck and the calamari (prudence, the bar mentioned earlier is across the road...makes for a great night out), Enlightened Cuisine just up from Crown Casino also does Mock Meat inspired dishes (the Kung Po Chicken and Duck...both awesome) (they have a nicer interior than white lotus, but i am partial to white lotus because Mr Lee the owner is just awesome), for a more fine dining vegetarian experience check out Shakahari in Carlton, for awesome vegetarian/vegan pizzas Plush Pizza can/t be beaten (i/ve used it as a hang over cure many-a-times), tasty vegetarian/vegan mexican can be found on Smith St Collingwood at Trippy Taco (the spicy burrito is the way to go) and they are located right near Fox Body Art Tattoo Studio (if you plan on getting tattooed there ask for Bugsy- rad dude, rad tattoos), Vegie Bar on Brunswick St is possibly one of the most popular veg places in Melbourne, as is The East Brunswick Club (especially on a monday night, $12 parmas, chicken burgers, pasta...etc...both veg and carnivore options) (vegan desserts too) or go visit the crazy hippies at Lentil as Anything in Abbotsford or St Kilda, for a pay what you feel the meal was worth menu.

i/m sure you/ve probably checked out a few of these places, but I hope there are some on here you/ll check out and enjoy as much as my friends and I.

I'm in Melbourne!!!
And I'm quite busy with searching an apartment.
I actually wanted to post a blog about my last friday in Bremen where I had the luck to be at the Pretty Things Burlesque Show.
Unfortunately, The internet connection in the place I'm staying is really bad, so that I can't upload the pictures I took.
However, I will upload them as soon...
