Back from Boston! Damn I'm tired - flew 9 hours with three stop-overs yesterday (ugh). WIsh I had stayed another day though. Didn't see nearly enough or get the chance to participate in any debauchery.
Stayed at a very cool hotel called 90 on Tremont St. - right across from a cemetary that had Sam Adams (the beer maker / patriot), Paul Revere (sp?), John Hancock, and Ben Franklin's parents. It was amazing how much history was there. Unlike California where a few Adobe lay claim to the oldest buildings around here, I walked into the oldest church in America and saw the gravesites of the earliest settlers. Also came across an ancestory without realizing it when I walked by a headstone that had a name I recognized from a family tree my aunt put together years ago.
Still didn't see everything, but got enough local flair and went to some neat restaurants thatgave me a good sense of the city and culture. Now back to the regular daily grind.
I guess I'll spend my day unpacking and catching up with the SG sets I missed - gotta love group pics!
