Now that it's done and Mush won, I'm thinking maybe I should have given my vote to Native American prisoner, Leonard Peltier of the Peace and Freedom party. I wanted to, but didn't feel right about "throwing away" a precious Kerry vote. On the other hand, being in CA where the electoral college gives Kerry an A+, I had the luxury of being *able* to vote with my conscience, unlike those in the swingier states.
It's over, and now I emigrate. But where? I refuse to put my cats in quarantine, so I guess I can't return to France. But I can't stay here, either. One could argue that to leave would be a disservice to this distressed nation of ours, for we need all the light we can get. Still, to run is tempting.

Regretfully i didnt get to vote due to being in another country and not ordering my absentee ballot soon enough With or without my vote, Kerry still got Cali.
