Serena Toxicat slinks across the dimensions as a writer and French-English translator, a singer, actor and model, a painter and tattoo collector, a cat lady, NLP life coach, psychic reader and energy healer who was ordained a priestess in the Fellowship of Isis and has her own temple of Bast.
SF-born and bred, Serena is a world explorer who lived almost 8 years in Paris and traveled to Egypt, where she recorded vocals in the King's Chamber of Khufu for her Protea album, Going Forth By Night.
She has been published in anthologies and magazines, and written award winning plays and poems. Her parallel recording project is Starchasm, and she regularly collaborates with musicians worldwide.
Joining her for Protea will be tara ntula, who plays bass, cello, decks, drums, guitar, 12-string bass, keyboards, percussion, does production and programming, and is a thought machine and laptop wizard.

Sumiko Saulson is the author of three sci-fi/horror novels, Solitude, Warmth, and The Moon Cried Blood, and short story anthology Things That Go Bump In My Head. Born to African-American and Russian-Jewish parents, she is a native Californian, and has spent most of her adult life in the Bay Area. Her blog is www.SumikoSaulson.com.

Patty Overland, butch, lives in Oakland. She is a suicide survivor from the Bronx, N.Y., and has been writing poetry since she was 16. She was the co-founder of Wry Crips Disabled Womens Readers Theater along with Laura Rifkin and Judith Smith and is currently spearheading a revival of the company.
