I warn you I'm going to be catty here, but, well, love it or shove it, I'm not going to change any time soon.
But first, the Barbara Eden pics I promised!
This is from the Jeannie look-alike contest at the Castro Theatre last July. (I didn't win; a Russian genie gymnast did, but dammit, I had fun!)

And here I am with the Lady, herself!

We talked about working opposite lions and leopards, and I got an autographed copy of her surprisingly poignant, candid memoir, Jeannie Out of the Bottle.
With my bottle blonde 'do up against to her flaxen locks, we could pass for mother and daughter in a thick fog.
Trivia: Barbara is a native of San Francisco.
Here's my own 'petting the wild pussy' shot.

The photo was taken with Isis, an aptly-named ocelot at Isis Oasis temple and sanctuary, by Ayda Meisami for my CD artwork.

On to fuzzier topics!
This is my new adopted Mongolian Manul, Princess!
She's uncommonly sweet and curious despite the Pallas' permascowl, and lives at the EFBC (or the "Cat House") and is also called a Pallas' Cat.

a glimpse of last year's Twilight Tour
Check out the fine spotted feline, a Persian leopard called Shapur:

Took the opportunity to shoot some footage for my song, Pet the Manul, Bitch! You can see a surreal, quirkily humorous version of it on youtube and hear the (more or less unmastered) track if you wish.
On a subsequent day trip: My butt+Manul butt...for when you don't give a cat's ass - or when you do!
(Trivia: Pallas' Cats love to hang out in tubes and in the wild you'll often find them in logs or wedged in between rocks.)

I met a pawesome Manul family at the Ohio Zoo. Went to see them when I heard the babies were (almost miraculously) born via artificial insemination. If you read up on this cat (I recommend SaveManul.org for info about their plight and ZaManula! (Manul Power!) for pics and vids posted by mostly-Russian Manulomaniacs) you'll understand why each live birth is a victory. Read the zoo's own blog for the full story.

I interviewed Dr. Colleen Lambo from CREW, one of the 2 vets who performed the artificial insemination.

This species would sooner claw your scalp off than say hello to you so when this 5-month old guy bonded with me I almost swooned to death. I named him, "Exception."
If you go to the previous blog you'll see some paintings these guys inspired.

Joing my FB group, Mama Manul says: if you want! It's good life philosophy with a bad cattitude, and lots of Pallas' pics.

On a similar note, this is from Kinky Salon, SF's annual Pussyfest!

Not a feline, but definitely a cat of a different color, Enigma is the "puzzle guy" you may have seen at your local tattoo convention.
This was snapped at the SF Body Arts Expo before I went on stage for a contest.

Stay tuned for more pics. Will keep adding to this entry.

catdad:
Damned if I can find any pawprints. I've checked all of the prints front and back, the CD insert, and all over the box everything came in. I didn't order the full boxed set that you had offered, so maybe it wasn't included in my package? I really wish I could help.

Ugh not sure? Whats ur fb?
