The release event for PROTEA's 2nd full-length album, Going Forth By Night, will be held on Monday 8-8 at Oshan Anand's gorgeous, intimate, conveniently situated urban tea oasis, Om Shan Tea.

The performance itself is from 7 to 8 pm, and festivities last until 9 pm, ending in a timely manner for those who wish to attend Death Guild.

There will be belly dancing!
Isa Shisha will be accompanying musicians Serena Toxicat and tara ntula.
And as soon as confirmed we'll announce Joey D'Kaye on theremin.
Kat Karsecs will be playing (gu zheng and possibly other stringed instrument/s).
Our maat is on the album but can't fly in from Boston, as his schedule will not permit. Purrhaps I'll have an event there. I found him searching AE deity names on here and could not have been more pleased with the result. He's a great sentient being and amazing drone artist and mastering engineer who teaches at Harvard. I was just looking for like-minded SG f(r)iends!

There is typically a $5 per guest minimum for the delicious, organic dishes both savory and sweet, and, of course, tea service.

Going Forth By Night, Protea's latest Ancient Egyptian-themed album, will be available on CD in glossy digipak packaging embellished with exquisite artwork by Ayda Meisami.

You will surely be enchanted by the atmosphere and strong sense of community at this gem of a tea house.
